Ainura was honored as CEO of the Year by Women Entrepreneurship Day Kazakhstan. The agency expanded its reach to the Caucasus, solidifying its status as a communications agency in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Notably, an event for Twix was successfully executed under an agreement with Mars Kazakhstan.
While expressing gratitude to Ogilvy PR, "Tayniy Sovetnik" embarked on a journey to become an independent entity. The agency welcomed H&M as a client upon their entry into the local market, orchestrating a grand opening in Almaty featuring bloggers and media. This phase witnessed active engagement with influencers and a foray into digital development.
On May 13th, "Tayniy Sovetnik" emerged as a training initiative under the umbrella of the Star Media Creative Holding, a leading entity in Central Asia. Initially dedicated to communication training, the agency functioned as a PR agency with a modest staff of only two.
The dynamic shifted when Ainura Umayeva joined the team, and "Tayniy Sovetnik" started collaboration with international clients from Ogilvy PR. We held an Open House Day that facilitated an exchange of experiences and insights with colleagues from Ogilvy PR London and Turkey.
The agency had earned a reputation as an expert in working with international brands. Taking charge of Procter & Gamble's "Thank you, Mom!" campaign ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games in London marked a pivotal moment, accompanying Kazakhstani athletes Serik Sapiev and Nurmakhan Tynaliev.
Ainura Umayeva assumed ownership and launched plans for expansion. "Tayniy Sovetnik" joined the Cathay Communications global network, concurrently hosting the largest food festival in Central Asia, "The Delicious Alma-Ata," with support from the Almaty Akimat, attracting over 30,000 visitors daily.
2020 saw a temporary suspension of projects due to external circumstances, prompting an agile shift to an online format. During a value transformation, the agency prioritized essential initiatives and engaged in pro bono work to support medical organizations.
As part of a project for the global brand Sodexo, the agency ventured into branding for the first time, expanding into a new domain – "branding from scratch." The team expanded and welcomed new members.
Fast forward to 2023, and "Tayniy Sovetnik" embraces change at its core. In a significant transformation, the agency rebrands itself as Tidam, pledging to continue crafting projects that spark conversations and written acclaim. This marks a compelling new chapter in our history, defined by flexibility, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to creating impactful projects.
